Austin Akers

Austin Akers is a CEO at Bison Oil & Gas IV, LLC, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Bison Operating, LLC, the new operating arm of Bison Oil & Gas. Austin also holds a position as a Board Member at Taproot Energy Partners. With a background in oil and gas exploration and production, Austin has co-founded and led several companies in the industry, including Bison Oil & Gas, Bison Oil & Gas II, and Drillnomics. As the President and Founder of Buffalo Royalties, LLC, Austin has negotiated substantial mineral interest transactions. Additionally, he served as the Vice President of Land at Logos Resources, LLC, contributing to the growth of the company's land position in the San Juan Basin. Austin is a graduate of Cornell University, with a degree in Industrial Relations and Negotiation.
