Elisabeth Anne Obara is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Bispebjerg Hospital, focusing on Glioblastoma multiforme since April 2020, with a research aim to identify genes involved in the radio-resistant phenotype associated with current treatments. Prior roles include serving as a PhD Researcher at Kræftens Bekæmpelse from January 2017 to April 2020, and as a Researcher at Bispebjerg Hospital from October 2015 to January 2017, where the emphasis was on eye diseases and ganglion cell expression. Additional experience includes a Guest Research Scientist position at the Danish Cancer Society Research Center from June 2014 to October 2015, contributing to the Brain Tumor Group's investigations into glioblastoma. Elisabeth's research career began as a Student Researcher at Aalborg University from September 2012 to June 2014, following educational achievements including a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with Industrial Specialization from Aalborg University, and an International Baccalaureate from Grenaa Gymnasium.
