Farah P. has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Farah began their career as a Research Trainee at the University of Nottingham in 2004. Farah then moved on to work as a Research Trainee and later as a PhD candidate and Research Trainee at the University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cardiff University from July to October 2009. Farah then joined the National Centre for Biological Sciences as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from August 2010 and remained there until 2013. Farah also worked as a Visiting Scientist at King's College London from January to September 2013. In 2014, Farah joined Horizon Discovery as a Product Development Manager, responsible for developing IHC, FISH, and RNA Diagnostic Reference Standards. In 2015, they transitioned into the role of Senior Product Manager - Diagnostics at Horizon Discovery, where they focused on strategic management of the IHC, FISH, and RNA product lifecycle and established collaborations with healthcare and diagnostic corporations. Farah then became a Partner and Founder at Amilon Ltd in 2017. Currently, they are working at bit.bio as the VP of Research Products, leading a Marketing & Product Management team since April 2019.
Farah P. completed their education at two different institutions. From 2003 to 2004, they attended the University of Nottingham, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medical Microbiology. Following this, they enrolled at the Cambridge University Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Biotechnology with a specialization in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Farah completed their doctoral program from 2005 to 2009.
