Lina Montoya has a range of work experience in the IT industry. Lina began their career as an IT Support Engineer at EMTELSA S.A in 2002. From there, they worked as a Database Administrator at La Riviera from 2003 to 2006. In 2010, they joined Toluna QuickSurveys as a Survey Analyst, where their responsibilities included analyzing data surveys and processing information. Since 2015, Lina has been working at Business in the Community Ireland, first as a System Administrator and later as the Information Technology Lead.

Lina Montoya completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering from University San Martin in Bogota, Colombia, from 1999 to 2003. Lina recently obtained a certification as an AWS Cloud Practitioner from Tallaght Training Centre in the field of Management Information Systems. Lina'smost recent certifications include CompTIA Network+ ce Certification (obtained in October 2020) and Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) (obtained in April 2015).
