Andrew Ovadya

Andrew Ovadya serves as the Assistant Vice President and Western Region Manager - Risk Specialist at BITCO Construction Group since September 2014, overseeing a team of four safety specialists and handling workers' compensation, auto, and general liability coverage for sectors including construction, light manufacturing, forestry, and oil/gas. Prior to this role, Andrew was with SMART Safety Group from July 2005 to May 2014, where responsibilities included serving as Safety Manager for various clients and acting as Staffing Director for field Site Safety & Health Officers. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and a Master of Science degree in Public Health with a focus on Industrial Hygiene from San Diego State University. Andrew is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and holds the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.
