Jan Šetina

Jan Šetina has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Product Manager for Trezor. From 2017 to present, they have worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Charles University. From 2014 to present, they have worked as an Assistant at various international congresses and events for CZECH-IN, where they have been involved in the organization of mass congresses and events such as PNW 2018, HPLC 2017, EPSHM 2017, WDC Škoda 2016, PTCOG 2016, AEPC 2015, and NATO days.

Jan Šetina began their educational journey in 2009, when they attended Gymnázium Na Vítězné pláni until 2015. Jan then attended Charles University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics. Afterward, Jan attended Nagaoka University of Technology for a short period in 2019. Jan then returned to Charles University to pursue a Master's degree in Optics and Opoelectronics, which they are currently still completing. Jan is also currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Quantum Optics and Optoelectronics at Charles University. In addition, Jan has obtained two certifications from Uxcel: Design Terminology and UX Design Foundations, both obtained in August 2022.
