Bogdan-Cristian Firuți

Bogdan-Cristian Firuți is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager and Software Engineer Team Lead at Bitdefender since July 2020, where responsibilities include implementing a DNS parser and enhancing the performance of a DoH server written in Go. Prior to this, Bogdan-Cristian worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on C/C++ programming for an IDS/IPS application and developing an HTTP2 parser for traffic scanning. Previous roles include Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Facultatea de Automatică și Calculatoare, UPB, and Junior Programmer positions at Bitdefender and BullGuard, where key contributions involved creating a Linux Kernel Module and a Windows tool for executable comparison. Bogdan-Cristian holds a Master's degree in Complex Computer Networks Security and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, complemented by a Baccalaureate Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from "Traian" National College.
