Dev Sharma is a distinguished member of the Youth Parliament, having served as a Member of Youth Parliament for both Leicester and Winchester, notably being the first individual elected consecutively from different constituencies. Dev advocates for youth issues in the UK government, chairs the Youth Select Committee, and plays a significant role in various food poverty initiatives, including the Bite Back 2030 campaign and the Right2Food Charter. As a co-founder of The Jagan Club, Dev fosters a community for South Asian changemakers. Additional contributions include advisory roles with EAT and the Food Foundation, along with experience as a young ambassador for UNICEF and the Akshaya Patra Foundation UK. Dev’s educational background includes A-levels in History, Geography, and Economics from Winchester College.
