Katelyn Underbrink has had a diverse work experience beginning in 2014. Katelyn started as an intern at Healthy Futures of Texas and Surveyor at Centro San Antonio, and then in 2014 they were a Derechos Humanos y Movimientos Sociales for SIT Study Abroad. In 2015, they were a Case Manager and Permanent Supportive Housing Intake Coordinator for SAMMinistries. In 2016, they were a Special Populations and Research Project Manager and Business Analyst for South Alamo Regional Alliance for the Homeless. In 2019, they were a Program Associate for both Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio and Cross Timber Homes, as well as a Mayor's Office Intern for the City of San Antonio. Finally, in 2020, they were an HMIS Database Administrator and HMIS Specialist for ENDING COMMUNITY HOMELESSNESS COALITION INC, and in 2022 they are a Project Manager for Bitfocus.

Katelyn Underbrink obtained their Master of Public Administration - MPA from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2020, with a field of study in Public Administration. Katelyn also obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Trinity University in 2015, with a field of study in Sociology and Environmental Policy. In August 2022, they obtained their Data Analysis and Visualization Professional Certificate from the Texas McCombs School of Business.
