Ed Reginelli

Ed Reginelli is the CFO at BitGo. Ed has previously served as the CFO and Board of Directors at RhythmOne, and as the Chief Financial Officer at Cargomatic, Inc. and The Health Trust.

Reginelli is responsible for leading the accounting and finance functions including Accounting and Control, Treasury, Compliance, Tax, Financial Planning and Analysis, Risk Management and Investor Relations. Ed has also played a lead role in the M&A process, including negotiations, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.

Under Reginelli's guidance, the accounting and finance team transitioned to a high performance scalable share service model consolidating transactions under core teams including AR, AP, Payroll, Tax, Treasury and internal and external reporting. This successful transition resulted in a reduction in team size by over 50% while improving operational efficiency and strengthening internal controls.

In addition to their work in accounting and finance, Reginelli has also overseen all regulatory compliance requirements and presented business and financial results to investors, shareholders, and Board of Directors. Ed coordinated Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 documentation and internal control analysis.

Ed Reginelli has a BSBA in accounting from John Carroll University and is certified as a CPA.

They are on a team with Frieder Weichelt - Chief Risk Officer, Jeff Horowitz - Chief Compliance Officer, and Chen Fang - COO. Ed Reginelli reports to Mike Belshe, Co-Founder & CEO.
