Luis Ayala

Luis Ayala has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on sales and business development. Luis currently holds the position of Sales Director LATAM at BitGo, where they are responsible for leading sales efforts in the Latin American market. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences at Salesforce, overseeing operations in the industry.

Before joining Salesforce, Ayala worked at Amazon Web Services Inc., where they held two roles. Firstly, as the Head of Databases & Analytics LATAM Public Sector Business, they managed the business in the Latin American market. Secondly, as the Head of Public Sector Business for Central America & Caribbean, they were responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth in that region.

Prior to their time at Amazon, Ayala worked at Oracle as a Key Account Director. In this role, they successfully built strong relationships with major key accounts in the telecommunication vertical, becoming a trusted advisor for technology procurement boards. Luis Ayala attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their bachelor's degree in Engineering. Their field of study included Systems, Information Technology, and International Business. After a gap of a few years, from 2012 to 2014, Luis pursued a Master's degree in Innovation Management at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.

In terms of additional certifications, Luis obtained several qualifications. In September 2019, they became an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). More recently, in September 2021, Luis achieved Cloud Digital Leader and Associate Cloud Engineer certifications from Google. Luis also obtained the Engineer Data in Google Cloud certification from Google in October 2021.
