Kazuya Saginawa

Kazuya Saginawa is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of bitgrit, an IT startup established in October 2017 that focuses on hosting AI competitions and integrating blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies. Prior to this role, Kazuya served as the CEO of JapanEx Inc. from August 2016 to October 2017 and held the position of CEO at Canon, Inc. from April 2010 to December 2016, where responsibilities included patent writing and project design for the DreamLabo 5000 photo printer. Kazuya also developed and delivered training programs related to patent ethics for over 1,000 employees. Kazuya holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 長岡技術科学大学, obtained between 2006 and 2010.
