Colin Hemphill

Colin Hemphill has extensive experience in software engineering roles. Colin started their career at Novation Mobile, where they worked as a Full Stack Engineer, building real-time web applications for clients. Colin then joined Giftnix as a Full Stack Engineer and lead the development of a custom e-commerce platform for digital gift cards. After that, Colin worked at The Zebra as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on front-end applications and implementing designs in React and TypeScript. In their role, they prioritized accessibility, performance, A/B testing, and user experience optimization. Currently, Colin is employed at Bitly as a Senior Front End Engineer and Team Lead. Colin is responsible for making decisions related to code health, new features, and software architecture for the flagship link shortener product.

Colin Hemphill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Audio Engineering from Belmont University, from 2009 to 2013.
