Shannon Jankun

Shannon Jankun has an extensive background in human resources, with experience in various roles and companies. Shannon currently serves as the Director of HR at Bitly since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior People Business Partner at Bitly from May 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Bitly, Shannon worked at ADUSA Supply Chain as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner from August 2019 to May 2022, where they supported and advised leaders and associates in corporate Supply Chain teams during a transformation phase. From January 2015 to August 2019, Shannon held the position of Regional HR Business Partner at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where they provided strategic people support, leadership development, and implemented succession planning. Shannon was also a District HR/Training Coordinator at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they coached first-time managers, facilitated training systems, and managed onboarding and orientation for new hires. Shannon's earlier experience includes serving as an Executive Team Leader at Target from 2008 to 2013, where they led teams, achieved sales results, and participated in campus recruiting. Shannon Jankun is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Certified Professional in Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).

Shannon Jankun, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Information Design from Russell Sage College, which was obtained from 2006 to 2010. In 2018, they received a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to their educational background, Shannon has obtained certifications such as PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and SHRM-CP from SHRM. Shannon is also certified as a Situational Leadership II Trainer by The Ken Blanchard Companies and has completed a program in HR Analytics for HR Business Partners from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR.
