Martin Smole

Martin Smole has been working in the encoding industry for over six years. Martin started their career as a software engineer, before moving into product support and application consulting. In 2010, they joined trinitec IT Solutions & Consulting GmbH as a senior consultant. Martin left trinitec in 2013 to join Bitmovin as their director of encoding.

Martin Smole received a Dipl. Ing. (MSc) in Computer Science from Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt and a Bakk. techn. (BSc) in Computer Science from Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt. Martin also attended HTL Villach EDV und Organisation.

They are on a team with Daniel Hölbling-Inzko - Director Analytics, Daniel Weinberger - Principal Solutions Architect, and Roland Kersche - Director Platform. Their manager is Stefan Gruber, VP, Engineering.
