Joaquin Canals García-Labadie currently serves as Head of Institutional Partnerships for Southern Europe in Digital Assets and Custody at Bitpanda and Bitpanda Technology Solutions since April 2025. In addition, Joaquin is a mentor at Startupbootcamp, providing guidance to web3 startups. With a strong background in DeFi, Joaquin has been a Blockchain Advisor since 2018, specializing in ICOs and the Metaverse. Previous roles include Head of Partnerships for Spain and Latam at CoinW, and Head of Business Development for Europe and Latam at Coinstore.com. Joaquin has also been a partner at Casa Pepe Hostel Boutique and has extensive experience in business development, fund management, and networking in various financial markets. Joaquin holds a Master's degree in Business & Economics from Esade and has studied Blockchain & Cryptocurrency at Moralis Academy.
