Pavel Emelyanov

Pavel Emelyanov is a fullstack developer at Bitquery. Pavel has over 15 years of experience in the software development industry, with a focus on open source projects. Pavel has worked on the Linux kernel since 2004, and has been a major contributor to the containers functionality since 2009. In their role as software architect at Virtuozzo, they were responsible for developing new features for the OpenVZ kernel, managing the kernel repository, and making releases. Pavel also created and maintains the CRIU project, which is used for checkpoint/restore in userspace.

Pavel Emelyanov has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the same school. Pavel also attended Lyceum #11.

They work with Andrew Gridin - Dev Ops Head, Dmitry Krasnov - VP of Engineering, and Andrew Ivanov - Developer. Their manager is Aleksey Studnev, CTO.
