José Almeida

José Almeida is a Senior Research Scientist at Bitsight, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served as a Cyber Security Consultant at EY from 2018 to 2020, where they integrated a team to monitor suspicious activities and implemented an automated vulnerability assessment system. Between 2020 and 2022, José worked as a Cyber Security Analyst and Subject Matter Expert at Cognizant, contributing to the protection of the largest Android app store and leading workflows on malware detection. José earned a Bachelor's degree in New Communication Technologies from Universidade de Aveiro and a Master's degree in Informatics from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.
