Nuno Cardoso is an experienced data science professional, currently serving as an Invited Professor in the Master’s in Data Science program at Universidade de Coimbra since September 2022. In addition, Nuno holds the position of Senior Data Scientist at BitSight since August 2022, following tenure as a Machine Learning Engineer at Protegrity from November 2021 to August 2022, and as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Talkdesk from January 2020 to November 2021, working on security-related projects involving big data, ETL, and machine learning technologies. Earlier roles include Software Engineer at EDISOFT - DEFENCE & AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES and Software and Systems Engineering Researcher at CISUC, focusing on topics such as privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity. Nuno's educational background includes a Master’s degree and Post-Graduation in Information Security, as well as a Licentiate degree in Computer Science, all obtained from Universidade de Coimbra.
