Daniel Casarín de la Cabada has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Daniel is currently serving as the Head of Risk at Bitso since April 2022, after working as the Global Risk Manager from June 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were associated with Banco de México starting in 2012 as an intern and later held the position of Economist from 2013 to 2015. During their time at Banco de México, they contributed to high-impact research projects, co-authored a published paper, and won an award. Daniel also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México from July 2009 to June 2010.

Daniel Casarín de la Cabada has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2013. In 2011, they also briefly studied Economics at the University of Nottingham as part of their bachelor's degree. Daniel later pursued further education and received a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from UCLA in 2016. Continuing their academic journey, Daniel obtained a Master's degree in Finance, General from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include completing Level I of the CFA Program through the CFA Institute and obtaining certifications in areas such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, macroeconometric forecasting, Bayesian statistics, MATLAB, Bloomberg market concepts, Python programming, WTO introduction, and financial programming and policies. Daniel also holds Deutsches Sprachdiplom Stufe II and I certifications from the KULTUSMINISTERKONFERENZ.
