Gustavo Mendoza-Müggenburg

Gustavo Mendoza-Müggenburg started their work experience in 2006 as a Law Clerk at Santamarina y Steta, S.C., where they worked until 2009. During their time there, they specialized in banking, capital markets, securitizations, financial markets, M&A, joint ventures, international transactions, and project finance. In 2009, they became a Senior Associate at the same firm and continued in that role until 2021.

In 2018, Gustavo worked as a Praktikant at Allen & Overy LLP for a few months.

Since 2021, Gustavo has been working at Bitso as the Global ABC Legal Commercial Head and currently holds the position of VP - Business Legal Affairs.

Gustavo Mendoza-Müggenburg completed their Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at Universidad Panamericana from 2003 to 2008. Gustavo then pursued a Speciality Degree in Commercial Law at the same institution from 2008 to 2009. Later, from 2017 to 2018, Gustavo attended the Institute for Law and Finance (Goethe University Frankfurt) where they obtained their LLM in Finance, focusing on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. In addition, they pursued a Major in Business Administration at Centro Universitario Mexico from 2001 to 2003.
