Jaka Vrhovnik

Jaka Vrhovnik has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Jaka currently works at Bitstamp as a Data Engineer, a role they have held since September 2021. Before this, they spent over two years at Bitstamp as a Business Intelligence Analyst and Developer from March 2019 to September 2021.

Prior to their time at Bitstamp, Jaka worked at UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d. Jaka first served as an Analyst in Commercial Strategy and Planning from January 2018 to March 2019. Before that, they worked as an Analyst in Retail Planning and Controlling from October 2017 to January 2018.

Jaka also gained valuable experience at Lindt & Sprüngli Australia, where they worked as a Chocolate Cafe Team Member from September 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Trade Marketing Assistant at SC Johnson from October 2014 to July 2016.

In the earlier stages of their career, Jaka worked in the hospitality industry as a Bartender and Hospitality worker at Abovo from August 2008 to October 2014. Jaka also had a role in data entry at the Republic of Slovenia, Agency for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development, from June 2006 to August 2006.

Jaka Vrhovnik holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, which they pursued from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Graduate Certificate of Finance and Banking from Swinburne University of Technology in 2017. In 2012, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. Additionally, in 2015, Jaka earned a certification called "The 5-Day Excel Challenge" from lynda.com.
