Software Architect at Bitstamp

Jure Žvelc has a diverse background in software development and architecture. Jure currently holds the role of Software Architect at Bitstamp since February 2019. Prior to this, Jure served as the CTO at Spartan Solutions d.o.o. from February 2018 to February 2019. Their responsibilities included leading and managing the company's technological operations.

Jure also gained valuable experience at D.Labs, where they held two roles. Jure first worked as a Web Developer, focusing on Python, Django, and Git skills for a London-based client from September 2015 to April 2016. Jure was then promoted to Senior Web Developer and took on the additional responsibilities of working as a DevOPS on infrastructure for a fashion based platform from April 2016 to February 2018. During this time, they successfully migrated development and production environments to Docker and developed CI/CD pipelines using the HashiCorp stack.

Before joining D.Labs, Jure was a Full Stack Developer at Specto informacijske tehnologije d.o.o. from January 2010 to July 2015. Jure also briefly worked as a Front End Developer at Digiverse, tehnologije za digitalni svet, d.o.o. from July 2014 to September 2014. Jure's earliest work experience was as a Web Developer at KAŠE Informatika d.o.o. where they developed websites using PHP and jQuery from January 2009 to July 2009.

Throughout their career, Jure has gained expertise in a variety of technologies, including PHP, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, SVN, as well as Docker, Terraform, Packer, Consul, Vault, and Nomad from the HashiCorp stack.

Jure Žvelc pursued their education chronologically, starting in 2004 at Vegova Ljubljana, where they completed their Matura degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General in 2008. In 2009, they joined SAE Institute and earned an Audio Engineering Diploma by the end of 2010. Their educational journey continued at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science Ljubljana, where they enrolled in 2011 and completed their BSc in Computer and Information Science in 2016. Throughout their education, Jure focused on various fields such as computer and information sciences, audio engineering, and computer and information sciences in general.
