Matej Ferenc

Matej Ferenc has an extensive work experience in the field of technology. Matej most recently worked as a System Operations Engineer at Bitstamp since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at d.labs, starting as a Web Developer in March 2017 and then transitioning to roles as a DevOps Engineer and eventually as a Senior DevOps Engineer until October 2021. Before joining d.labs, they were a Software Developer at Tridens from January 2016 to March 2017. Matej also worked as a Freelance at MFProduction from April 2013 to December 2015. Matej started their career as a Developer at Tomaž Trplan S.P. in November 2012 and continued to work there until January 2014. Matej gained valuable experience as a Student Developer at 3 Gen d.o.o. in 2010 and 2009, where they worked with Java, JBoss, Apache, MySQL, and attended relevant courses.

Matej Ferenc attended Trnovo Primary School from 1998 to 2006. After completing primary school, they enrolled in The Secondary School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Ljubljana, where they pursued a high school degree in Tehniška gimnazija from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, Matej Ferenc joined the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts, and studied Sociology from 2010 to 2015. Alongside their educational journey, Matej Ferenc obtained additional certifications. In July 2008, they received the CCNA Discovery: Networking for Home and Small Businesses certification from Cisco. Furthermore, in March 2009, Matej Ferenc acquired the CCNA Discovery: Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP certification, also from Cisco. Lastly, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023.
