Sam Hariri has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Starting their career at American Electric Power, they worked in Trading, Structuring and Business Development. In 2005, they joined L.E.K. Consulting as a Strategy Consultant, focusing on private equity due diligence and strategic advisory. In 2007, they moved to SolFocus as Corporate and Business Development, heading MENA business development and fund-raising based in Dubai. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as Principal at Various Early Stage Ventures. In 2012, they joined BitTorrent, Inc. as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, they lead BD/corp dev/sales/operations/data analytics/product marketing/customer service teams and coordinated with product and engineering to deliver ~$XXM/year revenue. In 2018, BitTorrent was acquired by Tron, a top 10 blockchain company with a market cap over $5B+.
