Bart Falzarano

Bart Falzarano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Bart is currently serving as the Head of Information Security at Bitwarden since December 2022. Prior to this, Bart worked at Bank of America as the SVP Sr. Information Security Officer from April 2021 to December 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Bart held the position of VP Security & Compliance, Cloud Ops & IT at AxiaMed. Bart was responsible for developing top-tier technology solutions for the healthcare industry, focusing on transactional and revenue cycle management.

Before AxiaMed, Bart worked at RightScale from Flexera as the Director of Security and Compliance from October 2013 to June 2018. Bart played a crucial role in establishing and implementing the company's security and compliance programs, including PCI-DSS, EU Data Privacy/GDPR, and SSAE16/SSAE18 SOC1 and SOC2 Type 2.

Bart also served as the Chief Information Security Officer/ VP Infrastructure Technology at Walz Group from April 2006 to June 2013. Bart was responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of the company's infrastructure technology, along with governance and compliance with GLBA, SAS70 Type 2, and SOC1, SOC2, SOC3 Type 2.

Prior to Walz Group, Bart held positions at Temecula Valley Bank / First Citizens Bank, Entriq, Endymion Systems / Blackhawk Systems Group, Inc., and San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. Their roles ranged from IT security and network management to nuclear instrumentation and controls technician.

Bart Falzarano attended Union Technical Institute from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer Technology and Computer Sciences.
