Katie Montembeault

Katie Montembeault has a long and varied work experience. Katie began their career in 1997 as a Store Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Coffee Company. In 2004, they transitioned to a Human Resources Representative at Paychex. In 2007, they took on the role of Managing Director at Hair Club for Men and Women. In 2008, they became a Human Resources Generalist at Kitware Inc. In 2017, they were hired as a Human Resources Partner at GE Renewable Energy. In 2021, they were hired as an HR Wrangler at Automattic. Currently, they are the Director of HR, Recruiting, Compensation and People Operations at Bitwave.

Katie Montembeault earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Human Resource Management from Ramapo College of New Jersey between 1998 and 2000. In 2009, they obtained a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they earned a SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
