Sebastian Strand

Sebastian Strand has a diverse work experience in the game development industry. Sebastian recently started working as a Senior Game Developer at Bitwave Games, where they focus on porting external projects. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, they were a Tools Programmer at Thunderful Games, where they developed and maintained tools and systems for their Unity codebase. Sebastian also worked on "Lost In Random" as a programmer and provided technical direction for an unannounced project. From 2012 to 2015, Sebastian worked as a Game and Mobile Applications Developer at Image & Form International AB, where they handled consultant work and contributed to the development of SteamWorld: Heist. Sebastian also managed the programming for Easybring's iPhone app and worked extensively on Deeler's iOS app and backend. Additionally, Sebastian had brief stints as a Programmer at Zoink Games in 2014 and as an Intern at Interactive Labs in 2012. Sebastian began their career at Image & Form International AB in 2011, initially as a Game Programmer, where they achieved success with a top-ranking children's game for the iPad. Sebastian also worked as an Intern, completing projects including an iPhone app and a quiz game.

Sebastian Strand began their education in 2008 at Ljud och Bildskolan Kungsbacka, where they studied computer games and programming skills. Sebastian completed their studies at this institution in 2011. In 2011, they enrolled at JB Kompetens, where they pursued a degree in datorprogrammerare, enskilda applikationer (computer programmer, individual applications), completing their studies in 2012. In 2015, Sebastian returned to the University of Gothenburg, where they studied literary science for a year. In 2021, they resumed their education at the University of Gothenburg, this time focusing on film/cinema/video studies. Sebastian'sstudies at this institution are expected to conclude in 2022.
