Ryan Rasmussen

Ryan Rasmussen has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Ryan currently works as a Crypto Research Analyst at Bitwise Asset Management, a position they started in May 2021. In addition, they are a Mentor at Outlier Ventures Accelerator, a role they started in January 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Ryan worked at Cetera Financial Group for several years in different finance positions. Ryan joined the company in September 2015 as a Financial Analyst in FP&A and Corporate Finance, and later became a Senior Financial Analyst in the same department. Ryan was then promoted to Finance Manager (FP&A) in April 2020. In these roles, they had responsibilities in financial planning and analysis, corporate development, financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and process optimization. Ryan also played a significant role in the implementation of Oracle's cloud-based ERP/EPM solution.

Before joining Cetera Financial Group, Ryan worked as a Business Analyst at Oakley from June 2014 to September 2015. Ryan also gained experience as a Finance and Accounting Intern at Arbitech, LLC, a computer hardware company, from December 2013 to May 2014.

In addition, Ryan had internships in business and new product development at OrigAudio, an audio solutions company, from July 2013 to December 2013. Ryan also had a unique opportunity to work as a Trade & Investment apprentice at UK Trade & Investment during a semester abroad in Australia. During this internship, they assisted Australian companies in expanding their business to the UK and helped UK-based companies enter the Australian market across various sectors.

Ryan's work experience also includes a role as a Tutor & Mentor at the Blind Children's Learning Center, where they provided educational support to blind and visually impaired children to enhance their motor skills, spatial awareness, and cognitive functioning.

Ryan Rasmussen attended Chapman University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. In 2013, they also briefly enrolled at the University of Sydney, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree specializing in Finance & Accounting. Prior to their time at Chapman University, Ryan attended Eastern Washington University from 2010 to 2011, although they did not complete a specific degree or field of study during this period.
