Stephen Degnan, CIMA®, CETF®

Stephen Degnan, CIMA®, CETF®, has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Stephen currently serves as the Key Accounts Director at Bitwise Asset Management since November 2022. Previously, Stephen worked at Invesco US as the RIA Market Leader from May 2019 to August 2022. Before that, they held the position of VP, Senior Advisor Consultant at OppenheimerFunds from May 2016 to May 2019. Stephen also has experience at BlackRock, where they worked as Director - RIA Investment Advisor Consultant from August 1998 to May 2016, and at ULLICO, where they served as Trust Fund Advisor from May 1994 to August 1998.

Stephen Degnan, CIMA®, CETF® completed their education at the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics in 1994. Prior to that, they attended St. John's College High School.

In addition to their academic achievements, Stephen has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional knowledge and skills. Stephen obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification from the Investment Management Consultants Association. Stephen also holds certifications in various financial fields, including the Certified ETF Advisor from The ETF Institute, the Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate Program from the CAIA Association, and the DACFP Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals. Furthermore, they have completed the Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets from the New York Institute of Finance.

Stephen has also pursued further professional development through licensing. Although the specific dates of their certifications are not provided, they have obtained the Series 63, Series 65, and Series 7 licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
