María Ariza

Maria Ariza has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maria is currently the CEO of BIVA MX, the new Mexican stock exchange. Prior to this, they were the Founder and Managing Partner of Facial Design S.A. de C.V., a Mexican manufacturer and distributor of beauty and personal care products. Maria also worked as a Partner at Grupo Dabvsa, a company focused on senior living services, and as the CEO of AMEXCAP, a not-for-profit organization supporting the private equity and venture capital industry in Mexico. Maria has also served as an Associate at the Nafta Fund of Mexico, LP, and as the Strategic Project Office Director at Impulso Grupo Empresarial. Maria began their career as a Logistics and Project Manager at APEC, where they were responsible for planning and executing logistical plans for various summits and events.

Maria Ariza has a Master's degree in Management with a concentration in Finance from Harvard University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, graduating between 1998 and 2002.
