Lacey Carlson has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Lacey began their career as an Administrative Assistant at St. Olaf College, where they also served as Co-Chair of Students for Reproductive Health and Choice and as a Teaching Assistant. In 2013, they participated in a term abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia. Following that, they worked as a Youth Vote Coordinator for the Democratic Farmer Labor Party in 2014. In 2015, they were an Administrative and Support Services Coordinator for HandsOn Twin Cities, a Development Associate for Green Card Voices, and an Operations Manager for the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. In 2020, they worked as an Instructor for both EF Education First and Duoc UC, although they were forced to return after only one month of a yearlong contract due to COVID-19. Finally, in 2021, they worked as an English Language Teacher at the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, and is currently employed as a Human Resources Associate at BIX Produce.
Lacey Carlson attended St. Olaf College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Russian Language. Lacey also attended the Saint Petersburg State University in 2013 to further their studies in Russian Language.
