Igor Gois has a diverse range of work experience. Igor started their career as a Control and Automation Engineering Intern at GreyLogix Brasil in 2008, where they worked until 2009. From 2010 to 2011, they interned at ANP - Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis as a Control and Automation Engineering Intern. In 2012, they joined Halliburton as a Trainee and later became a Data Acquisition Engineer until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Igor worked at Grupo de Moda Soma as an Analytics Engineer. Igor then joined BIX Tech - Data Consulting in 2016 as a Data Engineer and worked their way up to become the COO & CPO in 2021. In this role, they facilitated the creation of a people-first culture, ensured operational efficiency, developed new revenue streams, and scaled the operational team. Igor also established workplace programs to support employee growth and development and improved relationships with vendors. Their contributions at BIX Tech have been recognized, including being named one of "The 150 Best Small Businesses to Work For" and receiving accolades from GTPW - Great Place to Work, Alliance for Integrity, and Glassdoor.
Igor Gois attended Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2007 to 2012, where they studied Control and automation engineering. Igor also completed their Ensido médio e fundamental at CCPA from 1995 to 2005. Igor Gois obtained various certifications, including Apache Airflow from Astronomer in 2021, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer from Google in 2021, and Data Engineering with Google Cloud Specialization from Coursera in 2020. Igor also holds certifications from Qlik in areas such as Data Analytics, Qlik Sense System Administrator, Qlik Sense Business Analyst, and Qlik Sense Data Architect, all obtained in 2019. Furthermore, Igor Gois completed additional online courses from Coursera, including Case studies in business analytics with ACCENTURE, Foundations of marketing analytics, and Foundations of strategic business analytics, all in 2018.
