Matheus Kjellin

Matheus Kjellin has a diverse work experience in data consulting and engineering. Matheus is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at BIX Tech - Data Consulting, where they oversee the company's technology operations. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Data Engineering at the same company, where they successfully built and managed a team of 15 members, focusing on automation and integration of technologies. Matheus also worked as a Data Engineer at BIX Tech, where they developed data pipelines for a fashion retail company, utilizing Python programming language and Google Cloud services. Before joining BIX Tech, Matheus co-founded a self-employed initiative in 2019, aiming to apply advanced data engineering and analytics in the financial market. Despite facing challenges, the venture was discontinued after a year. In 2018, Matheus worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant, enhancing BI development for large enterprises by utilizing tools like Qlik Sense, QlikView, Power BI, and Pentaho Data Integration. Throughout their career, Matheus has proven himself to be a capable and versatile professional in the field of data engineering and consulting.

Matheus Kjellin completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, starting in 2012 and finishing in 2019. Matheus has also obtained additional certifications including Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in December 2021, Qlik Sense Data Architect from Qlik in February 2019, and Professional Data Engineer from Google in March 2021.
