Karen Strother

Karen Strother is a skilled technical writer and communications specialist currently employed at Bixal since February 2019. Previously, Karen served as a program specialist at Highrise Consulting, Inc., where expertise in justifications and standard operating procedures was developed while working with the Office of Budget at NIH. Karen has extensive experience in academia, teaching writing courses at various institutions, including the Community College of Baltimore County and Towson University. Additionally, Karen has contributed to document design and research assistance for multiple organizations, demonstrating a strong background in composition, rhetoric, and accessibility in communication. Karen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Publication Design from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
