Jimmy Sample, CPE has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry. Jimmy began their career in 1977 as an Apprentice Electrician for various electrical contractors. In 1981, they became self-employed as an Owner. From 1984 to 1996, they worked for Folsom Electric as a Foreman. From 1996 to 2000, they worked for Big J Enterprises LLC as a Field Electrical Project Manager, Superintendent, and Estimator. From 2000 to 2009, they worked for Lynx Electric as a Chief Estimator. From 2009 to 2015, they worked for BEI as a Commercial/Industrial Estimator. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, they worked for Corbins Electric as a Chief Estimator in New Mexico.

Jimmy Sample, CPE has an education history that includes a Certificate of Completion from the IBEW/NECA NJATC Apprenticeship Program from 1977 to 1981, and they left The University of Texas at Arlington in 1977 to become an electrician. Jimmy also has five additional certifications from LinkedIn obtained between February 2018 and July 2018, including Bluebeam: Draw Layouts & Detail, Excel 2013: Managing Multiple Worksheets and Workbooks, Learning Trimble Accubid Pro, Setting Up a Database in Excel 2010, and Excel 2013: Advanced Formulas and Functions.
