Pavel Yurkov

Pavel Yurkov has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2005. Pavel began their career as a Developer at Geonika in 2005, where they worked with C++ and AutoCAD development, fixing bugs and implementing new features. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at SysIQ, Inc. as a Senior Developer, Team Lead/Senior Developer, and Customer Engagement Manager. In this role, they were responsible for Java, HTML, JavaScript development, as well as team management and small projects management. In 2015, they began working at Astound Commerce as a Customer Engagement Manager, where they were involved in cross-functional teams management, product requirements and functional specifications creation, and UX design sessions. Pavel also managed products from design to launch and post launch phases. From 2017 to present, they have been working at BizInsure in various roles, including VP Technology and Operations, VP Technology and Product Management, and Technical Product Manager. As a Technical Product Manager, they are responsible for product life cycle, improvement opportunities identification, turning them into actionable items, and product backlog prioritization and management.

Pavel Yurkov obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute'\u200b between 2002 and 2005. Pavel also holds a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in December 2011, and a PMP certification from PMI.
