Shama Patwardhan

Shama Patwardhan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shama started their career in 2004 as a Specialist in General Insurance at AXA Business Services, where they worked until 2007. In 2010, they joined Capital Metrics and Risk Solutions Pvt Ltd as a Performance Analyst for one year.

Shama then worked as a Portfolio Analyst Intern at Cozad Asset Management from 2013 to 2014. During this role, they performed portfolio analysis and developed models for different funds, focusing on performance metrics and risk management.

In 2017, Shama joined Stock Card as a Product Manager. Shama contributed to enhancing the Stock Card platform and created novel products and features for individual stock market investors. Shama'sresponsibilities included building product roadmaps, brainstorming ideas, and developing user stories and requirement documents. Shama also studied user behaviors to derive actionable insights for user conversion and retention. Shama held this role until February 2023.

Currently, Shama Patwardhan is a Product Manager at Bizly, a position they started in February 2023.

From 2001 to 2004, they attended Brihan Maharashtra College Of Commerce and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a field of study in Statistics.

Shama then pursued a Master of Commerce degree from the same institution from 2004 to 2006.

In 2012, they enrolled in the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance in 2013.

During their time at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, they also completed the MIL Software Certification Program. Shama obtained the Basic Level certification in January 2013 and the Intermediate Level certification in May 2013, both from the Margolis Market Information Lab.
