Ron James

Ron James has been working in the IT industry since 1997. Ron began their career as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Oracle Corporation, providing tier 3 Desktop Mac support for miscellaneous creative departments and executive support and services. In 2002, they became a Partner and Senior Field Engineer at MacWorkMatters, LLC, providing on-site Macintosh service and support as an Apple Authorized Reseller to Bay Area creative clients. From 2006 to 2018, Ron worked as the IT Director at BizMacs, Inc. In 2018, they took on the role of Director of Support Services at The Mac Support Company, offering 1-on-1 Apple Certified end-user Macintosh support and help desk services to business professionals. Theirduties included workstation maintenance, virus removal, rebuilds, user migrations, professional backup recovery solutions, third-party software troubleshooting, and general OS issues related to connectivity, security, passwords, authentication, iOS device syncing, data backups, and more.

Ron James attended Cabrillo College from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, and C++.
