Jack Griffin

Jack Griffin is an accomplished media executive with extensive leadership experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Operating Chairman of Magazines at Dotdash Meredith since January 2022, Jack also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Harte Hanks, and Board Director at 41 North Media LLC/The Nantucket Inquirer Mirror, where Jack facilitated the newspaper's return to local ownership. Prior roles include Operating Chairman at Dennis, Managing Director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips, and CEO at Tribune Publishing and Time Inc., where Jack was the first outside CEO. Jack's advisory work through Griffin Media Ventures & Advisors LLC has focused on strategy and mergers and acquisitions, notably assisting IAC/Dotdash in acquiring Meredith Corporation. Jack holds a Master of Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Boston College.
