Daan Geerdink

Daan Geerdink has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Daan started their career in 2010 as a Frontend Web Developer at CBS Interactive and worked on website redesign projects. Daan then moved on to Clogs & Mills Web Services, where they served as a Web Consultant and Frontend Developer.

In 2013, Daan joined Askott Entertainment as a Senior Frontend Developer and worked on frontend development for several years. Daan then returned to CBS Interactive as a Frontend Web Developer, where they contributed to the complete website redesign of MetroLyrics.com.

Daan's career progressed further when they joined the Justitiële Informatiedienst in 2018 as a Senior Frontend Developer. Here, they drove frontend development and provided guidance within the department. Daan continued to excel in this role until 2020, when they joined Achmea as a Senior Frontend Developer, contributing to the frontend applications of the largest insurance company in the Netherlands.

In 2020, Daan transitioned to a role at Justitiële Informatiedienst as a Senior Typescript Developer, focused on driving development on the frontend side of the tech stack for various web applications used by government and municipalities.

In 2021, Daan joined Cegeka as a Lead Frontend Developer, responsible for shaping and implementing the architecture and developer experience of front-end applications. Daan also acted as the primary point of contact for development teams and project stakeholders.

Currently, Daan is working at Bizzdesign as a Frontend Consultant and has recently taken on the role of Frontend Lead.

Daan Geerdink attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems.
