Laura Nieto Mendez

Laura Nieto Mendez is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since June 2022. Previously, Laura held the position of Associate and Architect at Foster + Partners from September 2012 to October 2022. Prior architectural roles include working as an Architect at Gelabert i Associats and an intern with Arquitectos Sin Fronteras - Internacional, where Laura connected the international branch with European members for cooperation projects. Additionally, Laura was a Lecturer Assistant at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, teaching first-year architecture students. Early career experiences include positions as an Architectural Assistant at KGB Architects and Estudio KGB Arquitectos. Laura holds a licenciatura in architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and has furthered education at institutions including ESMOD and Institut supérieur d'Architecture 'Saint-Luc' de Bruxelles.
