Rita Fernandes

Rita Fernandes serves as the Archives & Digital Asset Management Coordinator at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since July 2023, following a role as Archives & Digital Asset Management Assistant. Prior experience includes an internship as Archive Collection Intern at OMA from November 2022 to May 2023 and as Archive Research Fellow at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, focusing on the project "ArchNeed - The Architecture of Need" from October 2021 to October 2022. Rita's earlier experience includes working as an Editorial and Production Assistant at Circo de Ideias from February 2021 to September 2021. Educational qualifications comprise a Postgraduate Degree in Historical Archivistics from NOVA FCSH (2021-2022), a Master of Architecture from Universidade do Minho (2015-2020), and a Master's in Architecture with a focus on Restoration from Università degli studi Roma TRE (2018-2019), along with studies at Universidade do Porto (2014-2015).
