Rita Sio

Rita Sio, AIA, LEED AP is a senior architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since June 2015, with a diverse portfolio including notable projects such as the Media Company Headquarters and the NYPD 40th Precinct Station House in New York City, both currently under construction. Rita has also led completed projects like WeGrow School Expansion, The Smile - Gotham Residential, and The Cube Luxury Residential. Prior to BIG, Rita served as a project architect at Koko Architecture + Design, contributing to the Soho Penthouse and The Dessert Club by ChikaLicious. Rita's experience includes roles at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Anderson Anderson Architecture, working on significant projects such as the Sao Paulo Corporate Towers and participating in international exhibitions. Rita holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and has further education from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and Københavns Universitet.
