Sungmin Kim

Sungmin Kim is a skilled designer with experience in prominent architectural firms. Currently serving as a Designer at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since February 2022, Sungmin previously held the position of Junior Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) for a brief period in late 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Junior Architect at Unsangdong Architects (March 2018 - July 2020) and Junior Architect at Jung Ahn Architects (May 2015 - July 2015). Sungmin began the professional journey as an Intern at BSD Architects (July 2014 - August 2014) and later as a Project Intern at Jung Ahn Architects. Sungmin holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University (2020-2021) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Seoul (March 2011 - February 2018).
