Tracey Romo

Tracey Romo, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of compensation and rewards. Tracey currently serves as the Director of Compensation at BJC HealthCare, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Energizer Holdings, where they held several positions including Senior Manager of Rewards - Global Compensation, Mobility and Recognition, and Manager of Global Compensation. Tracey also worked as a Senior Manager of Compensation at Aegion Corporation. Earlier in their career, Tracey gained experience as a Compensation Manager at both the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Eastman Chemical Company. Tracey also held positions as a Senior Manager of Global Compensation & Payroll and Global Compensation Manager at Solutia Inc., as well as a Senior Compensation Specialist at Abbott Laboratories. Tracey began their career as a Compensation Manager at Sara Lee Corporation.

Tracey Romo, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1996. Tracey then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Management from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 2003. In addition, Tracey Romo obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in August 2019.
