Deborah Hartwell

Deborah Hartwell serves as the Practice Administrator at BJC Medical Group since May 2017, collaborating closely with the Medical Director and Hospitalist physicians to develop business strategies, manage budgets, and ensure smooth daily operations while enhancing patient services. Prior to this role, Deborah worked at BJC Corporate Healthcare from August 2011 to May 2017 as a Clinical Information Services Coordinator, where responsibilities included providing support for clinical information systems and fostering collaborative relationships across various departments. Deborah began their career at BJC HealthCare in April 1999, progressing from a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit to the Manager of Patient Care Services, where leadership and quality patient care were key focuses. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, earned between 1987 and 1993.
