David E. Cappiello is the current Director of Facilities at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC). They previously held the position of Facilities Manager at BJCC and have extensive experience in the electrical field, having served as a Site Manager at COFELY GDF-SUEZ and as a Union Wireman Electrician with IBEW from 2007 to 2014. Cappiello started their career as an Apprentice Electrician at Tommy's Electrical Services Inc. before advancing to various managerial roles in facilities management, including at ENGIE Services. They obtained a degree in Electrical/Electronics Equipment Installation and Repair from NJATC between 2007 and 2011.
