Kevin J. Powe Sr. serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority since October 2017. Previously, Kevin held the position of President for the Acipco-Finley neighborhood organization from September 2016 to October 2018. An experienced HVAC Technician, Kevin worked at Freedom Heating and Cooling from May 2014 to September 2018 and at Air Tech Mechanical Contractors from January 2014 to May 2014. Kevin also gained experience as a representative for Safelink Wireless and as a traveling representative/manager for Elite Marketing Group between November 2014 and August 2015. Educational accomplishments include an Associate's degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology from Lawson State Community College and ongoing studies towards a Bachelor's degree in Theology at Birmingham Baptist Bible College.
