Kathryn Byrnes

Kathryn Byrnes has extensive work experience in the legal field, particularly in the area of commercial contracts. Kathryn is currently the Director of Commercial Contracts and RFPs (North America) at BK Medical, where they have been working since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Corporate Counsel for Commercial Contracts at BK Medical from August 2021 to May 2022. Previously, Kathryn worked at RISO, Inc. for over two decades, holding various positions such as Corporate Counsel & Corporate Secretary, Contracts & Legal Support Manager, and Contracts Administrator. In these roles, they were responsible for negotiating, drafting, and analyzing contracts, as well as providing legal support and advising on risk management. Kathryn's expertise in contract law and their ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts make their a valuable asset in the field.

Kathryn Byrnes obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Concord Law School at Purdue University Global in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Psychology from UMass Boston in 1992. In addition to their formal education, Kathryn has obtained various certifications, including Learning Data Analytics, Microsoft Teams: Working with Files, Microsoft Teams Essential Training, CIPP/US Cert Prep: 1 U.S. Privacy Environment, CIPP/US Cert Prep: 2 Private Sector Privacy, and Admission to Practice Law from the State Bar of California.
